McHenry Scramble set to bring businesses together
The annual McHenry Chamber of Commerce Scramble is taking place at later on today.
The Scramble consists of a business showcase, a three-course lunch, and networking. Everyone taking part moves to another table for each course and are allowed three minutes to talk to those at the table about their business, as well as exchange traditional or digital business cards.
All guests will also have the opportunity to showcase their businesses at each table on a four square foot display of their choosing, and the Scramble is likely to result in many business connections being made for the future.
Those participants who registered by April 19 have received an attendee list for future reference. Businesses are also asked to donate promotional items or literature for the goodie bag that everyone will receive, or to make a contribution towards the various door prizes.
It is a likelihood that those who are donating items for the bag will be working with McHenry printing companies to prepare, perhaps choose to design and print a brochure which highlights their business and the way they help out in the community through donations.
The McHenry Scramble will take place at McHenry County Club later on today, April 26, from 11:00 am - 2:15 pm. Tickets are $25 for McHenry Chamber of Commerce members or $20 for non-members, and those who bring a non-member can purchase two tickets for $40.
