McHenry County College accepting 2017 alumni award nominations
The McHenry County College is currently seeking 2017 alumni award nominations.
This award will recognize certain alumni who have sought to improve their community through volunteering or leadership and have excelled in their selected career. Alumni must meet other requirements as well such as having attended McHenry County College with at least three completed credit hours.
The interim executive director for the Friends of MCC Foundation, Brian DiBona, said:
Past recipients of the award include Ryan Blum, a trade assistant at the International Trade Administration, Nancy Merkling, the owner of Nancy Merkling Productions, and Derik Morefield, the City Administrator for the city of McHenry.
Nomination forms must be turned in by March 3rd at midnight in order to for the nominees to be considered. Those who win the award will be recognized at the McHenry County College on May 4th, where alumni can expect music, dining, and banners with their names and images.
