McHenry County College will soon be hosting several workforce training programs for those living in the area.
Anyone interested can enroll in two different certificate programs, both of which focus on supply chains. The first focuses on supply chain management and teaches students how to reduce waste and ways to recycle high-value materials. The second program will focus on supply chain logistics. Students will learn about effective ways to manage goods from their source to their point of usage.
Both programs are led by Chucker Nemer, who has taught supply chain management for over 40 years. Nemer aims to provide a mix of “foundational knowledge” and “hands-on opportunities” for all students. Both programs will take place online, and printing services are often used to support students. Anyone interested can sign up online or call the college at (815) 455-8588.
Both programs will be offered in two Forms: entrants can choose either daytime classes or evening classes. The supply chain management program will last from February 2 to 4 if students opt for the daytime option. Night-time classes will take place between February 17 to 24. The logistics class will last from February 9 to 11 for the daytime course, while the night-time classes will run from February 16 to March 23. Both programs have a tuition fee of $1,450.
