McHenry chamber to hold November networking
McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce is planning a Networking Scramble for next month. The event will be open to both members and non-members.
The scramble will give local businesses and entrepreneurs a good opportunity to networking with others from the area. Organizers will prepare four different networking courses during the event where participants will have the chance to connect with more than 100 different business leaders. Before the event, organizers will email a list of participants to make it easier for everyone to follow up. Events like these could also use business cards to help participants connect with each other.
Lunch, coffee, and a goody bag are all-inclusive with the event. Food will be served during the fourth and final networking course.
The chamber also has some restrictions in place for participants. There can only be two registrants from an organization, and there is also a limit of 10 registrants from each industry.
The scramble will take place on Friday, November 5 between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Registration for the event will open at 9:00 AM on the same day. Entry to the scramble is $30 for members and $40 for non-members, who will receive a $10 discount on their tickets if invited by members. The event will happen at 31 North Banquet and Catering located at 217 North Front Street.
