McHenry area plans Mothers Day fun
McHenry moms are about to be treated to a day planned just for them, and a local venue wants to help by adding a special touch to the experience.
Cherry Tree Inn End and Breakfast in Woodstock will be rolling out the welcome mat for mothers when it hosts its “Houseplants and Momosas” activity. It is for moms and other leading ladies, and will be a hands-on event.
Each ticketholder for the function will be invited to create their own planting using her ceramic planters and houseplants, both of which will be supplied. They will be offered their first light bites and mimosas on the house, and free tours of the venue will be on offer upon request. They can take some fun pictures in the plant-themed photo booth. The start times for the planting activity will be staggered, with soil, pot décor, and horticultural tips all provided along the way.
Communities all across the country may have special events in the works for Mother's Day. A banner printing company will be happy to help by supplying decor and other final touches for an activity.
