McHenry area fundraiser planned in support of animal rescue
An event is on the horizon for the McHenry area that will give the public a chance to help local animals that need a loving home to call their own.
A rescue that works in the area will be hosting a fundraiser to help it continue its work in the community, and it is hoping it will prove to be a big success.
On Angel's Wings is an organization that helps find families for homeless animals, and it also offers them medical care. It noted that, in addition to this, it offers educational programming and works to help people and their pets together, if at all possible.
Members of the public are invited to come out for an evening of bingo, and one of the top prizes will be $100. There will also be even-split draws and raffles, and both food and beverages will be available for purchase as well. A professional DJ will supply the entertainment for the occasion, and the evening has been made possible through the support of both Advanced Custom Metals and Exemplar Financial Network.
An event like this can go a long way towards helping an organization meet its fundraising goals, and some assistance from print shops can aid in ensuring it will be a success. It will be able to supply everything from tickets to banners, name tags, and lanyards for volunteers and even printed corporate gifts that can be offered as door and other prizes.
Crystal Lake’s Grand Oaks Recreation Center will be hosting this fundraiser in support of furry and feathery community members in need on April 6. Tickets start at $20.
