Holiday-themed events to take place in McHenry County
Residents of McHenry County will have plenty to keep them entertained this holiday season, with themed events happening in Crystal Lake, McHenry, and other towns.
Festival lights, music and more are expected at these events. They include parades, festivals and other parties that are the perfect way to celebrate the season of giving. Brochure printing is likely to be used to share more information about these events.
The Festival of Lights Parade will be in Crystal Lake on November 29 from 7:00 pm. It will be at the corner of Williams and Brink in downtown Crystal Lake and the theme will be ‘A Dr. Seuss Christmas’. Santa Claus will be in attendance.
People from Lake in the Hills will be entertained by the Frozen Flurry Fest which is a free community event. It is being organized by the Parks and Recreation Division and Home State Bank. Children will be able to take pictures with their favorite characters from the movie ‘Frozen’, and Santa Claus. The event is on December 14 and attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable donations for the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry.
The town of McHenry will play host to the McHenry Toys for Tots Parade, Christmas Walk and Tree Lighting party at Veterans Memorial Park from 12:00 pm on November 24. Visits with Santa will also be taking place here.
