There are two fundraising golf tournaments coming up next month in McHenry County.
The first one will be the 9th annual 18 Holes for Home fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County. To find out more about this event, such as the registration fee and what is covered, call Habitat at 815-759-9002.
A few days later, the 10th Tee to Tea Ladies Golf Outing will take place. Acting as a fundraising event for Adult and Child Therapy Services (ACTS), fees are $95 each or $380 for a foursome. This includes nine holes of golf, a lunch buffet, on-course games, and prizes. Food and drinks will also be available on the course. Golf offers a way for local business leaders to network with one another, and even in charity tournaments there will be time to make connections. Many of the players will likely be placing a new business card printing order with their favorite McHenry printer.
Holes for Homes will be held at the Turnberry Country Club in Lakewood on September 11.
The Tee to Tea Ladies Golf Outing is taking place at Woodstock Country Club in Bull Valley on September 14 from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. For those who only want to attend lunch, the fee is $30.
