Fundraiser will support therapeutic services
The Black Tie and Blue Jean Gala is about to take place in nearby Harvard. It is a fundraising event for the Main Stay Therapeutic Farm, and this year's goal is $100,000.
The evening gala will feature a sit-down dinner and musical entertainment provided by the Chicago Diamond Trio. There are also set to be both silent and live auctions featuring a variety of donated items. Sponsorships are available for purchase, and local businesses are also encouraged to donate items for the auctions.
The Main Stay Therapeutic Farm offers therapeutic services for people of all ages who are physically, developmentally, emotionally, or socially challenged. Its programs include mentoring, meeting animals up close, and horseback riding for physical strengthening.
Business leaders from the area, including those from nearby McHenry, will no doubt wish to donate items or funds to this worthy cause. Some of them may wish to draw attention to their participation by investing in flyer printing services. The flyers can then be sent out to their customers through regular mailings.
