Food, drink, and music return to McHenry

McHenry will host its tenth annual Blues Brews & BBQs next month. Organized by the McHenry Area Rotary, the event is a fundraiser that will contribute to charity.

Guests can stop by for three days of music, drinks, and barbeque. Music artists like the John Todd Band and Ivy Ford will give live performances throughout the three days. A variety of vendors will also sell their food and drinks. Guests can expect a wide selection of options like pulled pork, ribs, wings, wine, craft beer, and more.

All proceeds from the event will go towards charitable organizations from a local to international level. In years past, the event has fundraised around $300,000 for different charity efforts, including student leadership programs, free meal programs, help for the homeless, and other humanitarian efforts.

There will also be sponsorship opportunities available for individuals and organizations looking to help support the fundraiser. For events like these, business card printing can help facilitate partnerships between organizers and sponsors.

The event will take place between August 20 and 22. For specific opening and close times, the event’s website has more details. Pre-sale tickets are $10 for any single day and $20 for the weekend. Children 12 and under can attend for free. The event will happen at the McHenry Peterson Park on 4300 Peterson Park Road.
