Festival cycles back to McHenry
The 3rd annual Pedal to the Park is taking place in McHenry this June, hosted by Bike Haven.
The event used by the store as a way to thank the community for its support during the year, and to promote the importance of bicycle riding. There will be children's activities such as face painting and bounce houses, a BMX stunt show, educational talks about bike safety, tips on maintenance, and live demonstrations.
In addition, Star 105.5 FM will be broadcasting live from the park all day, and Bike Haven will be having special sales throughout the day at its store. There will no doubt be something taking place that will appeal to every member of the family, and that will possibly get more people interested in owning bicycles.
It's likely that the venue will be decorated to attract more people to the event and to make it appear more festive.
