Chamber to host lunch with city executives
McHenry’s chamber of commerce has scheduled a luncheon where entrants can meet with city officials. The event will happen next month and is exclusive to members of the chamber.
Titled “A Seat at the Table,” the event is replacing the chamber’s annual “State of McHenry Luncheon.” The event is now smaller scaled, limiting entry to just 12 members, but it will happen once every month instead of once a year. The luncheon gives business leaders and city officials a chance to meet and participate in open discussion. Such events can use business card printing, so participants can maintain contact after the luncheon.
For April’s meetup, entrants will meet at a restaurant in the city. Lunch will be included, and entrants can place their orders at the restaurant. The luncheon will start with introductions where each guest will give their name and a brief update on their industry. An update on city matters will follow, which will then lead to an open discussion between all participants. Afterward, a group photo will be taken and posted on social media.
The event will happen on April 8 between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM. Registration for the luncheon is $40, and the chamber will accept only one representative from each company. Anyone with more questions can direct them to Molly Ostap at molly@mchenrychamber.com.
