Applications open for 2023 Charity Partner
The IBJI CARES Foundation is looking for a charity partner for 2023.
The foundation is the philanthropic department of the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute. By partnering with IBJI, the local charity organization that is chosen will receive one year’s worth of funding from fundraising efforts made by the foundation. Applications are open to charities from multiple communities, including McHenry. Print shops could be consulted when creating application forms.
Dr. Vanessa Yee, the Chairperson of IBJI CARES, put out a statement where she said:
The foundation raises funds for charity in various ways. One of those methods is the yearly IBJI CARES Golf Outing which is the foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year. The charity that is selected to be 2023’s partner will cooperate with the board from CARES to make sure that the charity’s projects are in line with the available resources such as funding and volunteering.
Partners from previous years include Chicago’s Good News Partners’ New Life Shelter and the Glenkirk organization in Northbrook. In 2022, the Glenkirk organization was the beneficiary of landscaping projects and new technology that was used to upgrade the facilities at the homes set aside for people with developmental disabilities.

"Every year, we try to expand our reach. This year, we would again love to partner with an organization where we can be involved in multiple ways. We have many employees who are eager to volunteer and help give back to our communities all over the Chicagoland area."
