New multiuse development starts construction in Meridian

Construction has begun in Eagle View Landing in Meridian. This will be an office park of some 51 acres that will have retail and medical space, as well as a large outdoor entertainment space and a hotel. Ball Ventures Ahlquist (BVA) is the developer of the site.

The first building to be completed by next year will be a five-story, 125,000-square-foot office building that will primarily serve as office space for Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU). CEO of ICCU, Kent Oram, expressed his excitement about this growth in the area as the new building will enable the company to expand their training and back-office support areas for team members and their call center.

Stationery printers are often needed when companies move or expand their operations to new facilities.

The Farmstead Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival previously occupied the site but has since moved to Kuna to a 178-acre farm. ICCU purchased the land in 2018 and entered into an agreement with BVA to develop the site.

Geoff Wardle, a representative of BVA, said there will be several phases in the development of the site. The next phase will include a large, outdoor entertainment area with a golf facility and commercial and retail space with a planned completion date of late 2020 or early 2021. It is not yet known what will be built or done with the last seven acres of the site.
