Ten Mile Road in Meridian will become home to a new large Target store.
The store will be at the District at Ten Mile near Interstate 84. The store will span 148,000 square feet and will be the largest in Treasure Valley. It will be a dual entry store and will have a CVS Pharmacy, a kiosk for Starbucks coffee, and a dedicated drive-up-and-go area on the side of the store. There will also be 601 parking spaces, which is 13 more than is required.
Banner printing can be used at such sites to inform the public of such upcoming retail establishments.
Michael O’Reily, with Kimley Horn, said the retail center is consistent with the Comprehension plan of the city, which calls for land used for commercial purposes to have a mix of residential dwellings, retail, employment, and public uses near major arterial highways. He added that the shopping center is close to office space, other retail stores, and residential property throughout the surrounding area.
This Target store would be the first one in Meridian, although there is another location just inside the city limits of Boise on Eagle Road. There is another store on Milwaukee Street and one in Nampa at Treasure Valley Marketplace, making a total of four stores in the Treasure Valley.
