South Meridian will be the location for a large-scale housing development.
The development, to be called the Windrow Neighborhood, spans 64 acres east of Linder Road and north of Amity Road. Traffic from the development will travel on Amity Road to get to Meridian Road.
There will be 251 single-family homes in the development. The sizes of the lots will be different, ranging from 4,752 square feet to over 10,000 square feet. There will be two- or three-car garages in each house, and driveways for two cars, in addition to 428 parking spaces on the street.
The developer, Conger Management, said this will be a bikeable and walkable community and will be near employment opportunities, healthcare services, shopping, and regional transportation. Among the amenities in the development will be over a half mile of pathways; a large park for dogs; a play park with swings, a climbing dome, and a play structure; and a picnic area.
The internal pathways will provide a pedestrian-friendly environment and help to connect the public and homeowners within the community. The pathways and internal sidewalks will offer many opportunities for the residents to bike and walk and enjoy the neighborhood.
Brochure printing is often used to provide more details about features and amenities of such developments.
Conger Management still needs approvals for annexation, rezoning, and variances from the city of Meridian for the project.
