A Topgolf-style entertainment facility is planned for Meridian in Eagle View Landing.
Although the concept is geared for larger markets, the originator of the concept said that it is now looking to develop this concept in small and mid-sized markets. The new venue style would be able to serve markets with between 100,000 and 500,000 people. There are more residents than that in in the greater Boise area with a population of 750,000.
The new venue design from Topgolf would be able to scale up or down depending on demand so they it would have the flexibility to serve other markets in the country.
Craig Kessler, COO of Topgolf, expressed his excitement about being able to launch this new development of the business. Now many more communities will be able to enjoy this concept, so that millions more guests could be served than with previous concepts.
The developer of the Eagle View Landing site, Ball Ventures Ahlquist, was not able to confirm whether the new tenant at the site is Topgolf or another similar provider, but that it would be a golf-entertainment venue. Banner printing can be used at such sites to keep residents informed of such projects and their progress.
Big Shots and Drive Shack are also golf-entertainment venues, for non-golfers and golfers, and provide equipment on site.
