New chicken restaurant to open in Meridian

The first location of Super Chix in the Boise area will soon be opening in Meridian at Orchard Park.

In what was once the Linder Village project at the intersection of Chinden Boulevard and Linder Road, Super Chix will be opening a shop spanning 3,000 square feet. Super Chix offers a fast-casual setting and chicken sandwiches in Texas style, priding itself on loading sandwiches with more chicken than most competitors.

On its menu are 12 different sandwich styles, including the Nashville Hot, the Bacavo Ranch with avocado and bacon, and the Cheesy BBQ. Sandwich varieties are also offered as salads. The menu also features fried pickles, French fries, coleslaw, and chicken tenders. Among the desserts are hand-spun shakes and a line of custards. Local Print shops are often hired to create oriented versions of such Menus and other features of such eateries.

Bill Hawes, owner of other chains in the area, said that Super Chix is not a “fast-food” restaurant as such, as the food is cooked when it is ordered. He added that the pride and care in the food is evident to customers in its presentation.

Ammon, just outside of Idaho Falls, is the first location of Super Chix in the area and opened earlier this year. Super Chix joins a branch of the Meridian Library and the Winco food store in the Orchard Park project.
