An application has been submitted to build a subdivision in Meridian.
The subdivision is to be called Dayspring and will be built on 143 acres. The plot is located on the southeast corner of McDermott and Ustick Roads. It will have 517 homes as well as 14 lots for offices and retail space that will cover 7.4 acres. It will be built by a subsidiary of Toll Brothers, Toll Southwest LLC.

The homes will consist of 446 single-family homes and 71 town homes. The townhomes will be in four, five, and six units arranged in buildings. The single-family homes will be offered with different styles and lot sizes. Traditional home lots will range from ,800 to 17,000 square feet while a few homes with adjoining alleys will be in lot sizes of 3,800 square feet.
The north side of the development next to Ustick will be reserved for the commercial component and will provide services needed by visitors, workers, and residents and be geared towards supporting existing and future development. Access to this area will be from an east-west road that the developer will build south of Ustick. There will be two plazas with 60,000 square feet of commercial space in addition to open space that is designed to be a gathering place for people.
