Several holiday events and activities will be taking place in Meridian later this month.
Flyer printing can be used to promote such events throughout a city.
The Meridian Children’s Winterland Festival will be at the Boys and Girls Club Gym on N. Meridian Road. There will be a range of games with Christmas themes, as well as crafts and other activities, including a visit with Santa Claus. This festival will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 9.
The annual Meridian Ornament Drop and Seek is being hosted by the Meridian Arts Commission. Residents of all abilities and ages will be invited to make their own holiday ornaments to hide in downtown Meridian, which then be found by others to keep as a gift. The ornaments may be put on windowsills, hung from trees, or placed in a location in town. This activity will run until Saturday, December 9.
Finally, the Salvation Army is holding is Angel Tree Toy Drive at Meridian City Hall. Inside the main lobby of city hall will be a Christmas tree with tags detailing gift requests. Participants can select one or more tags for which they can shop, or they may bring a new unwrapped toy for children 12 years of age and younger and place the toy in the Angel Tree toy collection bin. The Toy Drive runs until Monday, December 11.
