The Oasis, a nightclub, lounge, and concert house, is planning to open in Meridian.
It will span 10,000 square feet and be on East Ustick Road, at the same corner as the VillaSport health and members club currently being proposed. Banner printing is often used to announce such projects to the community and keep residents informed of their progress.
Among its main features will be five signature cocktails that will change on a weekly basis, and $2m of new light and sound technology, including what will be the largest multi-point touch interactive dance floor in the world. The sound system was designed by Midas Sound and Harmon/JBL.
The owners and management of the Oasis were born and raised in Boise. They plan to have a venue that will be a prominent feature in the community, and the first large music establishment in the area. They hope that they will be able to bring a world-class nightclub and lounge experience to the area that is more than a bar with a dance floor.
The lounge will be open Monday through Saturday from 5:00 to 11:00 pm. The nightclub will be opened until 2:00 am.
The Oasis will have a soft opening, although no official opening date has been announced, as the project still needs approval from the city for construction to begin.
