The Brighton Corporation is looking to expand its Pinnacle Development in Meridian.
Pinnacle Development is just off Locust Grove Road and Lake Hazel Road. Brighton wants to add more than 130 acres to the development by creating a new community surrounding it. This would be called Apex Farr and would add 381 new single-family homes to the neighborhood. Apex Farr would be branded as Pinnacle Development and would also include six commercial lots.
Among the amenities at Apex Farr will be gardens, a dog park, tot lots, a pool and clubhouse, fitness courses, and walks through the development. The homes will be a mix of houses with one or two stories and garages for two or three cars. Some of the garages will face the front while others will face an alley. Brochure printing is one way to provide more details and information about such potential developments.
It will require seven phases to complete the development. Work will begin at its southeast corner.
Rezoning of part of the property is being requested by Brighton to increase the density of housing. This would enable the developer to build medium-density and medium-high-density homes, which would allow for minimum property sizes of 4,000 square feet and 2,000 square feet, respectively. Approval of the preliminary plot is also being requested by Brighton.
