An upcoming event in Fayetteville gives people a chance to mix two relaxing activities — yoga and enjoying a cold beer.
Renee Morris is the instructor for the Yoga and Beer at Barleygarden Fayetteville event. She will lead a yoga session, and then those who would like a beer will be able to enjoy one on the house. The yoga class is open to all skill levels. Participants need only bring their mats.
Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Bar is on J. Arthur Rank Boulevard in Fayetteville. The company serves comfort food like burgers, fries, and hot sandwiches, but its specialty is craft beer, for which it offers 72 varieties. The bar rotates the choices daily so people can check the website to see what is on tap when they’re ready to visit. It brings in beers from other breweries as far away as Germany, so there is always a huge selection of various types, from lagers to pale ales.
Instructor Renee Morris urges students to use caution when taking the class, and be aware of any limitations or injuries, as she is not responsible if any injuries occur. Organizers of events like this might use flyer printing to create instructional handouts for attendees.
Held on August 14, admission to the event is $16, which includes the class and participants’ first beer, and advance ticket purchase is required.
