Jazz festival brings smooth tunes to Fayetteville

Music lovers in Fayetteville are in for a treat next month, as a local radio station is organizing a festival all about jazz.

The WCLK JazzFest is bringing the soul and smoothness of jazz music to Fayetteville residents and visitors, with a lineup of three artists scheduled to take the stage. The music will be augmented by a culinary experience, with several food trucks committed to attending.

Among the trucks on site will be The Jazzburger, Chef Baker’s Place, Johnny’s Pizza, and Funnel Cake Guys. Refreshing beverages will also be available, though guests are welcome to bring a small cooler of beverages and picnic basket of food from home. Organizers can use poster printing to great effect when promoting festivals like this in the community, with high-traffic areas providing the impressions necessary to boost attendance.

The show will go on with rain or shine, and attendees should check the weather and dress for the conditions. Beach chairs and blankets are welcome for a comfortable listening experience on the lawn. The lineup will feature Avery Sunshine, Tony Hightower, and Jazz Funk Soul.

The Ville Amphitheater, located in Fayetteville, will host the jazz festival on Saturday, June 13 with the doors opening at 6:00 PM and the music starting at 7:00 PM. Tickets are available online starting at $40.41 per person.
