Golf fundraiser comes to Fayetteville
Those who like a good round of golf can enjoy one while helping raise money to improve the Fayetteville community.
Main Street Fayetteville has announced the 24th Annual Main Street Golf Tournament, coming to the area in mid-September. The purpose for the event is to raise funds for beautification projects in the city’s historic district, as well as supporting local mental health efforts.
The day’s agenda is sure to include fun and fellowship, but participants can enter several golf contests as well, including a Long Drive and Putting Contest, as well as a Closest to the Pin event. All three contests will name both a male and a female winner.
The individual golfer registration fee is $125, which includes cart fees, a boxed lunch, two drink tickets, and an evening dinner featuring a South of the Border buffet. Four-member teams may register as well for $500. The host is offering several levels of sponsorship of the event as well, which may be viewed on the Main Street Fayetteville website. Poster printing and similar graphic design services are often used for events like this.
