Silkscreen stencil class to take place in Fayetteville

Fayetteville locals can try their hand at painting or staining a wooden tray and adding a stenciled design at a class being held this February.

The class will be hosted by and held at Junk Mama's General Store. It will also utilize products from the company Dixie Belle.

Junk Mama's is a store that sells a wide variety of home decor treasures. These include products that are reinvented and recycled as well as vintage and antique items.

The store also sells Dixie Bell products, including the brand’s paints and stencils. Dixie Belle is a company that sells paint and paint-related products such as stencils and brushes. It was created after its founder invented a kind of paint that was more affordable than the variety she wanted to use, but maintained the quality of some of the high-end paints.

The class will take place this coming Thursday, February 3, at 125 Fisher Avenue (the location of Junk Mama's). The entry fee will be $40 and the payment is due in advance. Interested parties can call 770-461-4607 or visit the store to sign up.

Students will receive a 23'' x 17'' wooden tray and be able to use whichever paints they wish. Professional flyer printing is also often used to give instructions and share contact details for classes like this.
