Renovation of Perimeter Mall in Atlanta begins

General Growth Properties Inc. (NYSE: GGP) is to launch a multimillion dollar refurbishment of the Perimeter Mall.

Latesha Lynch is the marketing manager for the properties in question. She has expressed her satisfaction with the performance of the area, as most of the mall is leased at the moment. In addition, she has mentioned that new investment is expected.

If GGP requires the new project to get plenty of attention, it could contact brochure printers in Fayetteville. This may help with regard to the attraction of extra inward investment.

Lynch has told the Atlanta Business Chronicle that:

“The direction we are headed is more modern and upscale. We really want to brighten up the mall this year."

The Perimeter Mall was constructed in about 1971. In 2013, the food court was given a fresh look, and Microsoft, H&M, and Panera Bread all opened up in the mall during 2014.

The current upgrade will involve transforming the interiors of certain buildings. Signage, restrooms, flooring, and seating will all be updated to give the place a modern look. A pizzeria and a travel accessories shop are going to open later on in 2015.

During the course of 2016, further change will be introduced to the mall. In particular, the section that includes Macy’s and Dillard’s will receive improvements. Furthermore, the plan is that fresh corporate campuses will have a positive economic impact on the area as a whole.
