The proprietors of La Fonda Latina and Fellini’s Pizza are behind the plans and they could use flyer printing in Fayetteville to promote their restaurants after they have opened. A plot of land has been purchased at the corners of Hosea Williams Drive and Second Avenue.
CF Foundation, Inc. was the company who sold the land in question. Tim Holdroyd, an employee for City Realty, was chosen to represent the seller when the deal was made. Rick Bent, the Vice President of the real estate section of CF Foundation has said:
“CF Foundation, Inc. is delighted to make the sale to two intown restaurant operators who have more than 30 years of experience. This investment will provide East Lake residents with a much needed destination for good, affordable, interesting food and drink.”
The CF Foundation has been involved in attempts to deliver regeneration to East Lake for over two decades. It purchased the land under discussion back in 2005.
One idea is that a former gas station will be converted into a barbeque restaurant known as The Greater Good. This establishment will be targeted at families who welcome quick service.
The individuals behind the whole initiative think it will be more than a business investment. Entrepreneur Clay Harper has suggested the project will be positive for the community.
