Fayetteville residents can soon enjoy the JuneTeenth Freedom Day Celebration in Forest Park, just a short drive away. The event is family-friendly and packed with activities.
Kandii Land, the host of the event, has scheduled a range of fun for attendees. A live DJ will be on site to keep the party dancing through the day, along with live performances. Kids will enjoy bounce houses and face painting. A happy hour is in place for the adults.
A fireworks show will take place in the evening following by a raffle with great prizes. A pop-up vendor show ensures everyone has a memorable shopping experience while supporting local businesses.
Applications are being taken for vendors right now, with a non-refundable fee of $50. Vendors should bring a tent, chairs, and a table. A space measuring 10x10’ will be provided. A free open bar, along with appetizers will be available. Vendors must make sure their products are kid friendly. Those interested in participating as a vendor should text 518-833-3766.
Vendors often call upon the services of local Print shops in preparing for shows. Banner printing is ordered frequently so that highly visible signage can be seen in the vendor space.
The JuneTeenth Freedom Day Celebration is free to the public. It will be held Saturday, June 18 from 4:00 to 9:00 pm in Forest Park.
