The Grammy-winning music group Arrested Development is making a stop in Fayetteville this fall.
Arrested Development, the first hip-hop group from Atlanta in Georgia, has greatly influenced the music scene since it started. They came together as a team in 1991 and have won two Grammy Awards with five nominations overall. Their music can be recognized through its focus on social issues conveyed through catchy beats. They have four Platinum records to their name. Graphic design can be used to create album covers.
Together with Arrested Development is the energetic team Nappy Roots. In 2002, they became known as the number-one-selling hip-hop group. Listeners were drawn to Nappy Roots because of their mix of Southern appeal and easy-to-understand storytelling. The music from this group speaks to a large range of people, connecting to the ordinary lives that many fans live.
Attendees can bring beach-style folding chairs and blankets to sit on the lawn. It is not suggested to use regular full-size lawn chairs as they are not suitable for the terrain. For children who are five years old and above, a ticket is necessary in the lawn seating area while all kids within reserved sections need their own seat ticket.
Arrested Development with Special Guest Nappy Roots will be happening at The Ville Amp in Fayetteville on 14th September. The box office and venue doors will open at 6 p.m., while the opening act is set to perform by 7 p.m.
