Former Staind vocalist to play in Fayetteville

Aaron Lewis, country music star and former lead vocalist for the band Staind, will perform in Fayetteville in April. The Brightmoore Healthcare Amphitheatre will host the concert.

While working with Staind, Lewis’ interest in country music was rekindled when he toured with Kid Rock. He subsequently recorded his first solo country music EP, Town Line, in 2010. It features three versions of the single Country Boy. These feature several top country artists including Charlie Daniels and George Jones.

In November 2012, Lewis released his first solo album, The Road. It, as well as its debut single Endless Summer, both made the country charts. He followed this album with three more – Sinner, State I’m In, and Frayed at Both Ends.

In addition to these projects, he has also collaborated with several top artists. Examples of these include him featuring in songs by Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and Sevendust. He also collaborated on a performance with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor where the two performed covers of various songs.

Lewis’s Brightmoore Healthcare Amphitheatre performance will take place this Saturday, April 2, with doors opening at 6:00 pm. The venue is located at 301 Lafayette Avenue. Tickets start at $35.
