The festival starts with a parade by supporters’ groups for Atlanta United. AFC Lightning is set to carry out skills training on several small pitches, and there will be interactive booths for local recreational soccer and high school teams.
For no cost, the event will have soccer-themed decorations and games, plus foosball tables. Food trucks such as PTC Grill, Meatballerz, Operation Mini Donuts, Mad Greek, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Sweet Mama's Lemonade along with Classic Kettle Corn are all options for attendees to enjoy. There will also be Scoops ice cream shops, as well as Hog Pit BBQ and M.S. Pizza places near the park where attendees can get some treats. Adult beverages will be provided by The Hummingbird Room and Line Creek Bus Barn. Printing services can be used to help with decorations at such events.
Michele Holmes, the Main Street Fayetteville Program Manager, commented:
"When we learned that U. S. Soccer chose the Fayetteville area as their new home, of course we were inspired to throw a party to celebrate. Soccer has been a huge part of the Fayetteville and Fayette County community for decades, so it makes sense to highlight this obsession with our Kick N’ Rhythm Festival."
The Kick'n Rhythm Festival in Fayetteville is planned for Saturday, August 10 at City Center Park situated behind Fayetteville City Hall, at 210 Stonewall Avenue West.
