The Spring 2021 Georgia Film Academy (GFA) Introduction to On-set Film Production program is scheduled to begin in Fayetteville next month.
The Atlanta Technical College Continuing Education Department and the GFA are the organizers of this program. The course is designed to provide aspiring film producers with skills and real-world experience to help them launch a successful career in film production, and give them tips and advice for writing their resumés and finding jobs.
This Fayetteville program will comprise a balanced combination of classroom study and instruction mingled with direct experience handling filming gear, to provide students with the skills they need to get jobs in the film industry in the future. Students will receive the opportunity to participate in film projects with professional equipment including lights, cameras, and sound gear during the course, so that they have work experience to add to their resumés after graduating. The organizers of similar in-depth programs that include classroom training often use printing services to produce a sufficient number of course materials to aid students in their studies.
Those who are interested in increasing their knowledge and building experience in film production can enrol online for a fee of $750 per person.
This film production certification course is set to proceed from Monday, January 11 to Thursday, March 4 at Pinewood Atlanta Studio.
