Fayetteville sugar artists discuss gourmet food

A sugary workshop offers participants the chance to engage in a full day of immersive sessions led by Georgia’s acclaimed bakers and sugar artists.

Dubbed “Metro Bake + Create,” this event will provide attendees the chance to hone their current abilities, pick up new tricks, and get knowledge of the most recent trends in the field of baking and sugar artistry. This course is open to both new and seasoned sugar artists.

The program is set to start with a welcoming session at 9:00 AM, while morning seminars begin at 11:00 AM. The first period will be delivered by Shellane Brown titled Basics of Structure. Also, during this time Timbo Sullivan will take lead on workshop on how creative details and sculptures can be put into sweets using different materials. Morning classes will be through by 1:00 PM so that participants can have lunch as well as get to engage in some networking. Schedules for events can be shared using brochure printing.

At 2:00 PM during the afternoon session, Chef Roshell will lead 'Tis the Season for Treat. In the last workshop, Mastering Sweet Success facilitated by Chef Blaque, tips concerning taking pictures of products, building a marketing strategy, and proper pricing for custom confectionery services will be discussed. The prize giving ceremony will commence with a word of thanksgiving at 5:00 PM.

Metro Bake + Create will be held on December 14th at Trilith Guesthouse in Fayetteville.
