Celebrated chef to bring book tour to Fayetteville

Chef Edward Lee will be coming to the area in celebration of his newest book ‘Bourbon Land: a Spirited Love Letter to My Old Kentucky Whiskey.'

The James Beard Award-Winning chef promises attendees a memorable evening of exploring different cuisines and recipes directly from the pages of his book. Filled with 50 of Lee's original recipes, the book is also a tribute to Kentucky bourbon, going into detail about the spirit’s history.

The event will start with a live cooking show starting at 6.00 pm and running for an hour and a half, where Chef Lee will create four dishes using the recipes in his book. All the dishes will be paired with Four Roses Bourbon to accentuate their taste. Some items from the menu include spiced fried halloumi, pork chops, gochujang barbeque shrimp, and bourbon pecans.

The event will be held at the Trilith Guesthouse on Wednesday, June 6 in Fayetteville. Tickets retail at $175 per person, and they include a copy of the Bourbon Land and Corporate Gifts from Four Roses Bourbon, the event’s sponsor. The gift set will include a signed copy of the book “Return of a Whiskey Legend” by Brent Elliot, who is a Four Roses master distiller.

After the live demo, Chef Lee will be on hand to sign each attendee’s book and pose for pictures.
