Awards ceremony returns to Fayetteville

The Fayette Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Awards Celebration this December.

The event aims to congratulate and celebrate the work of local community leaders and businesses that have made an impact in Fayette County. The awards for this year will include Outstanding Business Person of the Year, the Chet Wells Award, and the event's newest addition, the Young Gamechanger Award. Each of these will highlight an achievement of the nominated organization.

The event also includes the ‘Pass the Gavel Ceremony’. This is an official announcement of the incoming Chairman of the Board for the 2023 year. The event will serve as an opportunity for networking for professionals from a variety of fields. The day will commence with breakfast and a social, followed by the awards celebration, and finally, the passing of the gavel.

The cost for entry will be $100 per individual. The small VIP business package is $275 for three people, and goes up to $1,000 for eight people. There is also a Fayette Chamber of Commerce member discount available. These will apply at checkout.
