A two-day artistic celebration will be held in the Fayetteville area soon, giving people a chance to see some works of art.
The 5th Magnolia Fine Arts Festival is a juried event, and will be held soon in Peachtree City, a short distance from Fayetteville. A juried event is what it sounds like—people who wish to exhibit their artwork have to first present their art to a “jury” of experts. The jury is comprised of knowledgeable experts such as other artists, as well as gallery owners and museum curators.
The art that will be celebrated at the festival includes performances as well as traditional works such as paintings and sculptures. Jewelry, digital art, and wood carvings will be exhibited, and dancers, singers, and writers will also take part.
The festival will be held at Drake Field, and is a family-friendly event. Artists are asked to pay a fee to enter, with the money going to help support art programs in the local schools. There is no charge for spectators. In addition to the juried show, there will be an exhibit of students' art, an area especially for the kids, live performances, demonstrations, and food.
The Magnolia Arts Festival is set for October 17, starting at 10:00 am, and winds up at 5:00 pm on October 18. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts for events like this, listing the artists and works.
