Father’s Day is approaching, and two organizations are teaming up to make the event special for dads in Fayetteville.
The Ivery Luxce Empire has partnered with the Dad’s Empowerment Network to create the very first “Celebration for Fathers, Fathers’ Day Weekend.” The weekend is a celebration for fathers of every age, ethnic group, walk of life, and their partners and children, and is planned to help honor the hard-working, awesome fathers who support their communities and their families as well.
The event will feature opportunities to learn something new as well as enjoying guest speakers, giveaways, prizes, games, live music, and great food. There are three different components to the two-day party. The first occasion is the Fathers Family Field Day, which is open to all participants and spectators, and runs from 11.00 am until 3.00 pm on the first day of the celebration.
On the second day, there are two events: a Boys Day Brunch, for fathers and sons only; and the Pandemic Princess & Her Masked Crusader: Masquerade Daddy Daughter Dance. This is open only to fathers and their daughters. The “boys” get together from 12.00 pm until 3.30 pm, and the dance is scheduled from 6.00 pm until 9.00 pm. Music is courtesy of DJ EJ.
The dates are June 19 and 20, which is Father’s Day, in Fayetteville’s McCurry Park South. Poster printing can be used to create colorful advertising for events like this.
