The Girl Tribe Pop Up shop will return this year, to an art gallery in Atlanta for a one-day shopping event. All businesses on site at the event, will be owned and operated exclusively by women.
Atlanta’s pop-up shop will feature over 70 businesses, including women’s clothing boutiques, children’s Apparel retailers, jewelry and accessory vendors, handbags and shoe merchants, beauty vendors and makeup artists, home décor retailers, artists, Stationery printers, and food and beverage merchants. Vendors from these and other sectors are still needed for this event, and can sign up on the Girl Tribe Pop Up website.
Girl Tribe was established in 2015, by Sarah Baucom and Carrie Barker. These two entrepreneurs shared a belief that women should support each other in business, even if their products and services are in competition with one another. They felt that hosting fun-filled events would draw women in numbers, and provide important venues for women to market their services and sell their products.
Atlanta’s shopping event will be held on Saturday, May 8, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Mason Fine Art gallery, located at 415 Plasters Avenue Northeast, in Suite 100. Tickets may be purchased from the Eventbrite website, for $5 for general admission and $20 for VIP passes. The organizer’s website also has more information about the event.
