Atlanta run benefits historic city park

The Adam’s Realtors Run for the Park 5K returns to Atlanta next month.

The 24th annual community race will be held in support of the Grant Park Conservancy, which works to maintain and beautify the historic park. Landscaping, design, infrastructure and sustainability are among the park concerns that the organization addresses.

First established in 1883, Grant Park is the oldest and one of the largest parks in Atlanta. It is home to numerous historical stone monuments for which the conservancy is raising funds to restore.

The upcoming race will wind around the perimeter of the park and through the adjacent neighborhood. In addition to the 5K, there will be a special Kids Tot Trot event for those 9 years of age or younger.

Local businesses are involved in helping to raise funds for the race and its charity through corporate sponsorships for which they receive name and branding recognition on event merchandise and materials.

Sponsors who support community events such as this often use Logo Design services as part of their marketing and promotion needs.

The Adam’s Realtors Run for the Park 5K will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, beginning in Grant Park near Zoo Atlanta. The 5K run and walk will begin at 8 am while the children’s race will start at 8:45 am and be followed by the awards ceremony.
