An elegant cocktail party is being held at the Atlanta Botanical Garden to raise money for the Jitsuko Johnson Plant Explorers Fund.
Serious gardeners will have the opportunity to mingle with like-minded individuals and take part in a silent auction later this month. This exquisitely catered event is called ‘Garden Envy’ and promises to be one of the most fashionable and fun events of the spring.
Attendees can bid on rare plants, hard-to-find cultivars, and garden novelties that run the gauntlet from whimsical to practical, all the while relaxing and visiting with other garden enthusiasts. The party and auction will take place at the Botanical Garden amidst a background of live music.
The Jisuko Johnson Plant Explorers Fund is used for trips to collect additional plants for the Botanical Garden's various gardens. Last year's trip included a visit to Vietnam. The Southern Season's Garden, Cascade Garden, and Storza Woods were among the beneficiaries of that trip, which returned with numerous perennials.
The party starts at 6:30 pm on April 23. Tickets are $75 per person and are available for purchase at Garden admissions, or via credit card by calling 404-591-1574. Guests should dress up and be prepared to have a memorable evening, and might benefit from bringing digital Business Cards, as this type of event is a prime example of a networking opportunity.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
