Grammy-winning British band to rock in Atlanta

Atlanta will be host to the British rock band Coldplay in June of this year. The band’s performance will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and will be a part of its ‘Music of the Spheres’ tour.

Coldplay formed in London in 1996. Since then, the group has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. This record makes them rank among the highest-grossing musical acts of all time.
The awards the band has achieved are also plentiful and include seven Grammy awards, seven Billboard awards, and nine Brit Awards.

As for musical style, the band has been categorized under such descriptions as alternative rock, pop rock, and post-Britpop. The band has cited such influences as George Harrison, Jeff Buckley, and Travis. Their works have inspired dozens of top artists today, including such notable names as Ed Sheeran, Imagon Dragons, and the Killers.

Coldplay’s live shows often include such elements as lasers, confetti, fireworks, and interactive wristbands, and usually see a portion of their profits to charities. For the Atlanta performance, a tree will be planted for each ticket sold.

Doors for the Coldplay performance will open at 6:55 pm at 1 AMB Dr NW. Tickets can be purchased on the Mercedes-Benz Stadium website. Venues such as this often find that their events benefit from marketing ventures assisted by flyer printing services.
