A film and TV production facility has been opened in Atlanta, Georgia by Raulet Property Partners. The facility incorporates 85,000 square feet of space spread over five acres. The property was acquired by Raulet Property Partners in July 2012 before being converted into a TV and film production facility.
The facility is self contained, and has stage space, a production office, a support warehouse and a mill shop all under one roof which attracted John Raulet initially. Prior to discovering Mailing Avenue Stageworks, all other properties were deemed unsuitable as the TV and film industry has certain specifications for its location. The facility has ceilings which are 30 feet high, with an area for shooting measuring 80 feet by 120 feet, free of obstructing columns. Tyler Edgarton and Paul Raulet are the lead investors with extensive knowledge of real estate. However, John Raulet knows what they need for the motion picture sector.
The acquisition of the property and the location of the project in Georgia enhances its reputation for being a feature of producing film and television. Georgia was the chosen location for more than 333 movies, feature films, TV series, commercials and music videos in 2012. Data provided by the Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Office reveals that this equates to an impact on the local economy of $3.1 billion. Included in those figures will be the increased demand for local printing services due to film and TV promotion.
