Colony Square has new building in pipeline
A six-story office building called Building 300 is being built in Colony Square in downtown Atlanta. The building will have 11-foot ceilings, large windows, plenty of office space, restaurants, shops and entertainment.
The Whole Foods Regional office will be a major tenant of the office building, and the developer for the project is North American Properties.
The developers said that they have seen a big demand for office space since they acquired the property three years ago. The office building is scheduled to be completed in 2020.
It will have 87,500 feet of space and retail stores on the first level. Whole Foods regional office will take two floors of the buildings. Bobby Turner, Whole Foods regional president said the company wanted to be in located in an urban community that celebrates food.
There Whole Foods offices will have a test kitchen. About 95% of the building is already rented. The developers plan to offer dining, fitness, and shopping as part of the amenities.
The Colony Square Building will have a food hall with restaurants, cooking demonstrations, live music, and comedy. Atlanta has printing services that design promotional products for businesses like this.
An iPic cinema will be renting a space in the building, bringing digital technology, cocktails, and dining by 2020. It will have nine screens with a restaurant and bar.
