Last month saw Zinburger Wine and Burger opened its second restaurant in Atlanta. Measuring 4,775 square feet, the new eatery is located near the Perimeter Mall.
Located at 4465 Ashford Dunwoody Road, it opened with a special program called Wine and Dine for a Cause. The event raised money for Camp Twin Lakes. The location near the mall definitely influenced their decision, says Rick Barbrick, president and CEO of the chain for the Briad Group.
The company had been looking for a freestanding location near the mall for a while, since this is a high-traffic area. It now plans to open more restaurants in Atlanta in the coming years.
The restaurant focuses on pairing fresh hamburgers with wine. Beef is ground in-house several times daily, and bread rolls are home baked.
The burger menu has several specialty burgers and sandwiches to choose from, such as buffalo chicken, French dip, grilled cheese, and grilled tuna ahi sandwiches. Customers can choose from a variety of toppings. A large children’s menu and meals come with a choice of fries or salad and a soft drink.
The full service bar serves beer, wine, cocktails, lemonade, iced tea, and soft drinks. The dessert menu has a variety of shakes, sundaes, and fresh pies to finish the meal.
