The start of Atlanta Botanical Garden’s holiday light show is now less than a week away, with children and adults welcome.
As part of this an outdoor walking tour, plant sculptures in the garden will be decorated with holiday lights. The topiary sculptures in Alice In Wonderland Reimagined garden will be illuminated with many colored lights. Visitors will see sculptures of characters from the Lewis Carroll novel, including the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Red Queen, and Alice herself.
The Ice Goddess sculpture has returned with new a decorative design and colors. There will be a Christmas train display too.
The Nature’s Wonder display will have lights suspended from the trees with music and sound effects. It can be programmed to look like the Northern Lights or a snowfall.
The Canopy Walk will be decorated many multiple colored lights. Visitors can stop for marshmallow treats at the S’more Station, and enjoy hot chocolate at the snack bar. Printers design and provide poster printing for events like this.
The Longleaf restaurant is open for dining with reservations. Also, The Quick Café and Snack Bar will be open evenings too. Social distancing is practiced and The Atlantic Botanical Garden is located at 1345 Piedmont Avenue.
The event begins next Saturday, November 14 and continues until January 16, 2021. Tickets are sold online and must be ordered in advance.
There will be 15-minute intervals for entrance to the gardens nightly for social distancing. The hours are between 5:00 pm to 9:45 pm. Parking costs extra.
