The Atlantic Botanical Garden is open to the public for tours this fall. Timed tickets must be purchased online to be admitted.
A limited number of people can enter, and most tickets are for between one-and-a-half and two hours. Several gardens open to the public.
Alice’s Garden ReImagined will be open and has life-sized sculptures of character’s from Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’, including the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Red Queen, and Alice herself. The steel statues are covered in fabric and filled with live plants. At night, the statues are lit up.
The Children’s Garden is also open. Visitors can walk over the Flower bridge or explore the edible vegetable garden and conservation garden. The water painting wall will be open for finger painting.
The indoor Fuqua Center will be open and has five main parts to see. The lobby has a live amphibian display, while the Orangerie grows plants under glass in the greenhouse, including citrus fruits, tropical fruits, nuts, and spices.
The Dessert House has special plants that grow only in the dessert. A Tropical Rotunda has many plants that come from Central America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
Visitors can walk through the Japanese garden, rock garden, cascade garden, canopy walk and most outdoor gardens. Dining is available with social distancing. Printers design and provide flyer printing for businesses like this.
The Atlantic Botanical Garden is open Tuesday through Sunday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
