What's Happening in Atlanta, GA…

Atlanta to be entertained by 80s tribute

The Electric Avenue band will host a live concert in Atlanta this October.

A tribute band, they were formed originally in 2012 as a one-gig opportunity. Since then, the group has performed for big names such as Pitbull, Tracy Chapman, Boyz II Men, and Bruce Springsteen. Their musical beats have earned them the title of 'America's Best 80s Band', and they continue to wow fans locally and internationally with their feel-good, authentic music.

Their aim with each performance is to deliver the sound of the nostalgic ‘80s. They focus most of their musical efforts on raising funds for communities across multiple states. The group consists of Eric Frampton, Will Groth, Shannon Pengelly, Chris Pou, Kevin Spencer, and Tom Young.

The cost for entry will vary for this event. General admission will be $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. For those who would like guaranteed seating, tickets will be $100 for a table of four. There are also VIP packages available for tables of eight or six. These are $220 and $180 respectively.

Graphic design can be an innovative way to create attractive backdrops for performances at events such as this one.

This event will be held on October 7 at Park Tavern, located at 500 10th Street North East, Atlanta. It officially begins at 8:00 pm, although doors open at 7:00 pm.
