Atlanta set to open two cat cafs

The Atlanta area is about to explore a dining concept originally created in Taiwan in 1998, a café that will surely be a delight for cat lovers in the area.

This fall, two cat cafés

are slated to open in the area. These unique cafés could benefit from the support of a local printing company to provide custom Drinkware and Calendars to advertise their businesses.

One of the cafés, Happy Tabby Cat Café, is set to open late summer or early fall. The concept behind the cat café is to work with local animal shelters and obtain cats, specifically picked for their demeanors and personalities, to wander around the café. The cats will all have their shots and are all up for adoption.

Happy Tabby’s proprietor is working with local restaurants and distributors to obtain items for the café’s menu. The café will feature a coffee shop and wine bar. Until she can obtain the liquor license, the café will be BYOB.

On the heels of Happy Tabby is another café set to open called Java Cats Café. This café was the idea of a local college student who thought of the idea while researching the amount of hits cat videos get on the internet. This café plans to work with the local community to support non-profits who help the community by providing goods and employment for local homeless and residents in need.
