A reggae celebration is to be held in Atlanta this August, marking its 10th year.
The event, titled “BeREGGAE Diaspora Music and Arts Festival,” will feature a variety of musicians from the genre.
The events are held in an effort to pay homage to the influence of Afro-Caribbean music in the region. It also aims to create a safe and welcome space for Black American, Caribbean and African cultures, and boost their representation.
The event will provide live instrumentals, vocalists, and performers from a variety of communities to entertain audiences of all ages. The three-day festival will be family friendly, and all community members are welcome to attend.
Past performers for this event have included names like Ceelo Green and Wayne Wonder. It will feature a variety of vendors offering food, drinks, and arts and crafts items.
